So much passion, prejudice and ignorance!
Question: If a driver is stopped by the police and tests OTT, does that mean he is an alcoholic?
Conversely, if the driver tests sober, does that mean he is NOT an alcoholic?
The same applies here. Miss Ye tested clean. No surprise. Lord Moynihan chose his words carefully. But was she tested regularily in China by anyone but the Chinese?
Chinese teams have a history of doping. Anyone who has worked in China can tell you what the Chinese think of Western concepts like intellectual property rights. So coaches in Western countries are correct to wonder about Miss Ye's extraordinary performance.
This is not about Miss Ye. She is a child. It is about our respective systems.

John Leonard should be made to apologise in writing to Ye Shiwen and the Chinese team, verbally on world TV, sent home, sacked and banned from coaching or attending any Olympic event. It must be a punishment that makes it clear that the Olympic spirit must be upheld.
I am whole-heartedly sick and tired of this infantile, vicious reaction to losing. They reacted the same way to the South Africa girl who had to live through accusations about her gender. These are young, vulnerable people who deserve better.
I don't recall any reaction by the Chinese (or anyone else) when Mark Spitz won 7 gold medals, Carl Lewis coming a gnats hair behind Ben Johnson then winning a hat full of golds, Michael Phelps and his gold medal haul. Then there was Flo-Jo died of a heart attack at 36. They were not hunted down and accused of drug taking? We admired them for their outstanding prowess.
