YASA-750

The YASA-750 was developed as a lower speed, high torque motor with excellent torque and power densities. This motor has been used in numerous industries and applications. The high torque and high power output of the YASA-750, along with a speed range of 0-3250 rpm make the motor especially suitable for use in diesel generation and direct drive traction applications.

The YASA P400 Series of Electric Motors
YASA P400 Series electric motors and generators are the smallest and lightest in their class.
These advanced axial flux motors produce up to 390 Nm and 160 kW of peak torque and power from a minimum axial length of just 80.4 mm. This very high torque and power density means that the P400 Series motors are the best choice in the many applications, such as traction, generation, integrated start and hydraulic replacement, where small size and light weight are of prime importance.

YASA-400

The YASA-400 was developed for higher speed and power applications. The motor is radially compact with a diameter of just 280mm. It is a medium torque (360/250Nm) and high power (165/70kW) machine, with a wide speed range of 0-7500rpm. These characteristics make it ideal for traction and generation applications.

YASA powered EV wins at Pikes Peak28-Jun-2015

For the first time, an electric car is the overall winner at the Pikes Peak international hill climb. Faster than any other vehicle on the climb and winning by 25 seconds, the Drive eO PP03 is powered by six YASA-400 electric motors producing over 1000 kW of peak power and peak torque of 2160 Nm.
Drive eO designed and built the eO PP03, a fully electric and direct drive lightweight race car, and chose YASA high torque and power density motors to reduce the weight of their bespoke race car whilst maintaining superior performance.

YASA Motors’ world leading power and torque density electric motors have been exploited to optimal effect in the latest sensational car from the Koenigsegg stable. Unveiled last week at the Geneva Motor Show, the stunning Regera uses three YASA motors and, according to Koenigsegg, delivers the fastest accelerating, most powerful production car ever.
The Regera uses two direct drive YASA 750 motors delivering 1600Nm/360kW on the rear axle for traction, and a single engine speed YASA 400 Motor Generator Unit delivering 350Nm/160kW of electrical power generation, torque gap filling and starter motor functionality.
The use of three YASA motors in the Regera represent the most powerful hybrid electric design seen in a production car, providing up to 700bhp whilst significantly reducing vehicle weight.
YASA Motors CEO, Chris Harris commented: “This is another great example of how YASA motors enable stronger hybrid capability in space & weight constrained powertrains. We see this vital end user benefit not just in passenger and performance vehicles but also in industrial and commercial vehicles. The Drayson Racing FIA World Land Speed Record
Drayson Racing has announced that it has set a new World Electric Land Speed Record of 204.185mph. Lord Paul Drayson has set the record for a sub-1000kg electric car in his converted Le Mans racer at Elvington airfield.
YASA Motors worked with Drayson racing to develop a bespoke 850bhp powertrain for the vehicle, which consists of 4 YASA-750H motors, each delivering up to 160kW. YASA have increased the power rating of the YASA-750H motor and increased the top speed of the machine to meet the performance criteria required by Drayson Racing.
