Anout-of-body experience(OBEor sometimesOOBE) is an experience that typically involves a feeling of floating outside one's body and, in some cases, the feeling of perceiving one's physicalbodyas if from a place outside one's body (autoscopy).
具有代表性的出体经历包括感觉到身体在外面漂浮,在一些例子中,一个人会在其身体之外察觉到他的身体(自窥症)
The termout-of-body experiencewas introduced in 1943 byG. N. M. Tyrrellin his bookApparitions,[1]and was adopted by researchers such asCelia Green[2]andRobert Monroe[3]as an alternative to belief-centric labels such as "astral projection", "soul travel", or "spirit walking". OBEs can be induced by brain traumas, sensory deprivation,near-death experiences, dissociativeandpsychedelic drugs, dehydration, sleep, and electrical stimulation of the brain,[4]among others. It can also be deliberately induced by some.[5]One in ten people have an OBE once, or more commonly, several times in their life.[6][7]

Neuroscientistsand psychologists regard OBEs asdissociativeexperiences arising from differentpsychologicaland neurological factors.[5][8][9][10][11][12][13][14]
