There was a black boy who, when he was 13, suddenly handed him an old dress one day.
"How much does this dress cost?
"About a dollar." He answered.
"Can you sell it for two dollars? Father looked at him with questioning eyes.
"A fool would buy it! "He said, gambling.
The father's eyes were full of longing: "why don't you try? You know, it's not easy at home. If you sell it, it helps me and your mom."
He nodded. "I can try, but I don't have to sell.
He was careful to wash his clothes, and without an iron, he brushed his clothes flat with a brush and laid them on a flat plate. The next day, he took it to a crowded subway station and sold it for more than six hours.
He clutched the two dollars and ran home. Later, every day, he was eager to find out the old clothes from the rubbish heap, and then, after taking care of them, he sold them in the busy market.
After more than ten days, his father suddenly handed him an old dress: "how do you think this dress will sell for $20?"
"How is that possible? How can such an old dress sell for twenty dollars, it's worth two dollars at most.
