在外面某视频下看到的一个起名叫特瑞伯佳德(应该是SNK的特瑞名吧)的老哥写的长文评价,第一次看到这么长的,原视频找不到了,好在翻译软件里留下了评论记录
Punishing: Gray Raven is a game worthy of the title. Alot of other games I have played is literally not a game but more of an app where you just go in skip stuff or auto the crap out of everything like 7 knights. The play time of 7 knights literally just expects you to "spend" time in the game by afking 15 rounds of Arena pvp. Dumbest shit ever and the rest of the gameplay is 1 time off moving out of obvious trajectories with your left joystick and then skip if it you hit a wall. PGR there is no such thing. Pure good adrenaline challenging gameplay. The dailies are quick to do so anyone is able to clear all of it in less than an hour a day depending on what you plan to achieve. This will tend to make PGR a side game and not your main game. However, if you actually want to chase scores and enjoy every individual constructs gameplay to actually get better in the game and not just spending to get numbers up. I can literally spend 3 hours in warzone just trying to perfect scores and time just flies by without you knowing. The gameplay is so exhilarating as it involves your eyes, ears quick reflexes and quick thinking (adaptability) on top of it all to make it work.
PGR is already proven in China servers FTP with just S rank and 5 star weapons you can complete all in game content. Anything more than that is really to just push the limits. This game actually requires a players skills and not just spending to be high with scores. I spend and support PGR and my scores sometimes are lousier than sweaty FTP players out there that actually play better. The stuff are really cheap honestly. Premium skins with skill animation changes should cost USD100 not USD30. They only made the japanese style costume for Alpha at USD100 and i got it for cheaper as i did not reach the pity.
Comparing mihuyo Honkai Impact and PGR there is a big difference in gameplay. PGR adds in the "adaptibility" ingredient of random orb skills for players to mix and match and react to hence PGR has a steeper learning curve and actually stand out. Sadly ppl these days just want to auto stuff and click some buttons and they claim they are gamers when all they are doing is just pushing buttons to complete the dailies. And when they hit a pay wall they just pay. PGR should market their gameplay more and have more publicity. I see that growing but its got to go more that grow. In a nutshell PGR is the best game i have played and thats even including console games when we talk about gameplay. Not sure why even the play station does not have this type of gameplay. 8 orbs 8 buttons for skills is more than enough on a PS controller. The closest game that comes to PGR is crusaders quest. This ARPG style of gameplay with the matrix dodge is nothing new. It is the random orb system that makes things more challenging.
PGR storyline is post apocalypse. I wouldnt say it is an original storyline BUT damn with the recent Lucia plume storyline it made me teared. The story just caught me offguard when i played it and immersed myself in the story and it still made me feel it eventhough i had so many spoilers along the way. As a working person who goes to the office 9 to 10 hours a day i appreciate how little time PGR requires off me but at the same time the every little time PGR takes from me is a real and pure gaming experience. To describe it I have an Alpha sss plus and if i make mistakes or if i dont know how to play i am still going to die. So no afk and spam skills braindead in PGR.
Each construct that you see upcoming on youtube by content creators can be very nice and all but trust me, when you actually use any construct in PGR it is like driving a new car. The feels is different as you have to adapt again in a different way. Example, 3 blue orbs to 3 of any kind preferably red for lucia crimson abyss and then for upcoming rosetta her core passive requires you to hold the attack button down. Imagine switching and then adapting to that in a split second. That is how exhilarating PGR is. I am so glad i bumped into some random content creator who announced this on the day the game when on Global Launch for this game. And until today i am still impressed by how PGR incorporated such a fun gameplay and no one out there is copying this.
