Why does this error occur when attempting to join a multiplayer room? -“Unable to connect to the host. Verify that the connection settings are correct. If you still cannot connect, contact the room hst and verify that the host is properly configured with the external port forwarded.”- Citra does not host your rooms for you on our servers. This means that when you create a multiplayer room, your computer is used as the server. The room host’s router needs to be set up to allow for other users to join your room. You do that by forwarding the port that Citra uses. Port forwarding is accomplished differently depending on your router model, so we recommend consulting your router’s instruction manual to figure out how to make it work for you.
